It’s one of the most unique shades in the line and in my collection so I had to have it. When I finally saw them available at Ulta, Embellishment was the first shade I made a mad dash for. The Lip Lingerie Liquid Lipsticks are some pretty hot nudes! It kinda makes sense now why they’re so popular and keep selling out so quickly at Ulta. The NYX Lip Lingerie Lipsticks are sultry, edgy nudes that are rather unique for a drugstore brand to whip up.
After the Lip Lingerie Liquid Lipsticks launched at Ulta, I breathed a sigh of relief and thought to myself, “These damn lipsticks better be worth it!” I probably hit 6 different stores when word got out that they were finally available at CVS only to come up empty handed each time. It is a muted purple shade that feels very “adult” while still revealing a creative fun side.Drugstore launches are always a pain in my behind and the NYX Lip Lingerie Liquid Lipstick launch was no different. Embellishment is actually one of my favorite shades out of my entire lipstick collection.

Bedtime Flirt is a pinky mauve nude that works really well with my fair to medium skin tone.
I currently own shades Bedtime Flirt and Embellishment. Overall I really like this lipstick because it is a comfortable matte lipstick will small issues and is very budget-friendly. Nothing crazy, it just leaves a slight mark if you go to sip a drink for example. Also, because the lipstick never fully sets, it does transfer occasionally. As time continues the stickyness slightly decreases but I don’t feel like the lipstick every fully dries. Personally this is not the worst feeling in the world and the lipstick still appears matte. After applying the lipstick it is still sticky for the next 5 or so minutes and when I press my lips together they stick slightly. This lipstick takes a while to fully set and dry. The texture of the lipstick is very creamy rather than liquid, making the drying time very quick And when I say drying time I mean the time it takes for the lipstick to MOSTLY dry. The formula of the Lip Lingerie line is actually pretty good considering it is a drugstore liquid lipstick. This again makes this line seem a little more high end. The packaging very much reminds me of the Kylie Lip Kit packaging minus the melting image wrapped around the top of the tube of lipstick. This packaging does differ from Nyx’s normal lip packaging however, so I thought it was a cool mix up and made the line seem a little more high end than they’re other lipsticks (even though almost all of the Nyx lip products I have tried have performed very well). The packaging of these liquid lipsticks is pretty standard – a black wand top and a clear bottle with the name of the line in black. I think the intent of this line was more on the nude side, which I really liked because I’m always looking for the perfect nude liquid lip. The line has 12 shades that range from very light nudes to some muted crazy colors like purple and a red-brown shade. They sell for $6.99 each, which is actually really inexpensive for liquid lipsticks. The Lip Lingerie line can be found at Ulta and CVS.
